Daniel Markovič
Mgr. Daniel Markovič, PhD.
Daniel Markovič is the Head of the Department of Social Work and University associate professor at the Faculty of Education, Catholic University in Ružomberok, Slovakia. He is Slovak coordinator and member of the Board of Directors of the international consortium for the joint study program European Joint Master in Social Work with Children and Youth (ESWOCHY) - Erasmus Mundus. He was/is involved in several Erasmus+ projects, e.g. NELCA, ULCA, KNOWLO or Excellence Boost.
In his research, Daniel focuses on career counseling and issues of minority groups. He teaches subjects devoted to the philosophy and history of social work, minority groups, digital social work and social work in an online environment and pedagogy.
