Mateja Todorovski
Mateja Todorovski is an experienced educator, trainer, and author of curricula and textbooks, specializing in early language education and teacher training. She is passionate about student-centered learning, where students take an active role in their learning process. As a consultant at the National Education Institute of Slovenia, she played an important role in implementing English for young learners into primary schools and co-authored two national curricula for English. She is also actively involved in the 2024 curriculum reform.
About
Previously an assistant professor in didactics at the Faculty of Education in Koper, Mateja remains dedicated to bridging theory and practice, ensuring that research-based teaching strategies foster engagement and deeper learning. In addition to her work in teacher education, she has contributed to the development of educational materials, co-authoring a textbook series for young English learners.
